PLSclear Search Widget

What is the PLSclear widget?

The PLSclear widget is a search box you can add to your website to make it easy to start a permission request right from your website.

It allows permissions requestors to search for any title by keyword, title, author, ISBN, ISSN, or DOI, and then submit a permissions request through PLSclear.

How to add the widget to your website

Choose the appropriate version of the widget based on your website size. We have 2 options, 200px wide or greater (ideal for wider layouts) and 170px to 350px wide (best for narrower columns or sidebars).

Then copy and paste the code into your website’s editing tools or Content Management System (CMS).

You can place the widget anywhere users might expect to find information about requesting permissions, such as a rights or licensing page, FAQs, or Contact Us page.

Do I need to be a developer to install it?

No, but you will need basic access to your website’s editing tools or Content Management System (CMS). If someone helps you manage your website, you can also share this guidance with them.
